Feed My Starving Children is a non-profit Christian organization committed to feeding God’s starving children hungry in body and spirit. The approach is simple: children and adults hand-pack meals formulated specially for starving children, and we ship the meals to more than 60 countries around the world. Tamela Sperr organized a Feed My Starving Children event held in Morris on August 26, 27, and 28, 2009 and with the help of 642 volunteers we packaged 160,917 meals. That is enough to feed 440 children for one year! This year we would like to have groups or organizations bring a "team" of 14-18 people to staff a table. We had 4 pods last year but we could fit 6 pods in the same space. We are also talking about a high school/college night with evening shifts.
