Who are we?
We are an "equipping" church, "preparing God's people for the works of service". God has so uniquely called us to make disciples of Jesus Christ by equipping others for their ministry to the world. Like the fishermen who "mends" his net. The Greek word implies the "mending","preparing","restoring", or furnishing" people to do what God designed them to do. The ultimate goal is to "build one another up" in the body (church) of Christ for God's glory.
Here at Morris Evangelical Free Church, the Bible is our accurate "road map" for finding life's direction and facing life's challenges. Our unique DNA is a caring spirit to help "restore" those who are hurting and "equip" those who are serving.
